How to invest in Positron before an IPO
Until Positron lists on a public exchange, its shares can only be bought in private transactions. The main routes are:
- Private secondary market. Existing shareholders, such as employees and early investors, sell shares to new buyers, either directly on the company's capitalization table or through a special purpose vehicle (SPV). Limited partners of single-stock special purpose vehicles (SPVs) also sell their exposure to pre-IPO stocks in the secondary market. Some private companies require company approval for transfers.
- Pre-IPO funds offered through financial advisors. AG Dillon offers single-company pre-IPO funds to qualified clients through financial advisors, and directly to qualified clients. The minimum investment is $2,500. AG Dillon solicits offers from institutional broker and VC firm counterparties on each trade and completes counterparty due diligence on the best offer. AG Dillon has no relationship with any pre-IPO company.
- Talk to your financial advisor. Your advisor can review whether pre-IPO stock fits your portfolio, verify your qualified-client status and work with AG Dillon on allocation.

Positron in our Weekly Pre-IPO Market Insights
Our view on Positron
The views below are the opinions of AG Dillon, summarized from our Weekly Pre-IPO Stock Secondary Market Updates, May to October 2026. They are not statements of fact or investment advice.
We see Positron as an inference-compute challenger to Nvidia, in a segment that remains structurally undersupplied. What separates Positron in our view is that it is already post-revenue with a product customers are buying, which converts the bet from technology risk into execution and scale risk. We think revenue-generating inference silicon is a more disciplined entry point than pre-scale silicon, which is why we prefer Positron to Etched. Like Groq, Positron fits the profile of solid technology meeting overwhelming demand.
- Deployment: Positron has more than 50 first-generation Atlas racks deployed at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and production customers including Parasail, Jump Trading and i3D.net.
- Design: Positron's chip is air-cooled and built to drop into virtually any data center, while Etched's is liquid-cooled.
- Diversification: we would still encourage diversification across several inference-focused semiconductor names rather than a single position.

What separates Positron is that it is already post-revenue with a product customers are buying, which converts the bet from technology risk into execution and scale risk, a materially better place to underwrite in a sector where getting started is both expensive and hard.
